Reupload CSV's and ignore duplicates

Am I able to re-upload the same CSV file and make sure it's isn't counted as duplicates?

Yes!

Let's say you upload 100K leads, over a few months, to your account, from sources like NextGen, Marketplace, Vanillasoft, or any others.

One day, you decide to run a campaign to leads from the Marketplace that you bought last month. You download them from the marketplace, upload them to OnlySales - only to receive an error. Every single contact shows up as a duplicate.

The way to work around for this in the past, was to try to find the specific list in the app, select the list, and delete it - then, upload it again. You no longer need to this!

  • Click on the "Uploads" tab in the left-hand menu:

  • Click on the "Upload CSV" button located at the top left-hand side of the page:

  • You will click on the "Browse" button, then select the CSV file you are looking to re-upload from your computer. It will show you a preview, then you will click on "Next" in the bottom right-hand corner of this text box to continue:

  • On this step, you will match up the columns to ensure it has all the leads information correctly inputted - Once it is all matched up, click on the "Next" button to continue:

  • If these leads are added to your account already, but you want to re-message them all at once - Turn on the toggle switch labeled "Apply configuration for existing leads" to allow duplicates:

Note: If this option is enabled - the system will NOT reject duplicate leads, but merge them instead. So - If you'd messaged them in the past, those conversations would still be there, but they'd be added to the workflow of your choice, instead of rejected as a duplicates like before!

  • Select the workflow or waiting list that you want these duplicate leads added onto to be messaged out from and then click on the "Submit" button after confirming all your settings:

Reminder: All duplicate leads re-uploaded to your account will automatically get messaged from a different number than they were originally contacted on previously.
