Conversations/Chats

This is the detailed info page for our Conversations tab (app.onlysales.io/conversations)

When you log-in to your account, you will see your main page and this is where all Conversations and/or Chats are located. You will notice at the upper left-hand side of this page will show 3 separate sections:

  • Unread: These are messages you have not yet opened or interacted with.
  • Recents: These are open conversations. They have either been manually replied, or called you previously.
  • All: This includes every contact - whether or not they have replied.

You can click through these sections at any time to view your current status on messages you have either received, or if it's under the "All" sections, the delivered ones as well.

Can I search for a specific contact that I have?

Yes!


  • You can click the search bar located under the 3 sections and type in what you are looking for - If you want to check for a specific name for a contact, just type it in this section:


Am I able to clear a conversation from my sections so it does not show up again?

Yes!


  • You can clear conversations at any time - You can click on the check box next to a contacts name that you no longer want visible in your section and then click the "Archive" button located on the upper-right hand side of the Conversations tab.


  • If you want to select all contacts in a section, just click the check box that is located across from the "Archive" button, and it will automatically select the entire list, then click "Archive" and it will clear them from the section:


If I send text messages on multiple numbers to the same contact, how do I check conversations for those numbers as well?

  • If you are messaging the same contact with separate numbers, it will show all your numbers you have contacted them on with the tabs at the top of the main page, you can click through these and check each conversation with this contact:

What are all the buttons located by the contact's display name?

  • There are 6 buttons by the contact's display name and they are shortcuts for the following features in order to the image below:

  • Archive: This will remove the contact's conversation from your chat sections.
  • Add to Workflow: You can add a contact to a desired workflow.
  • Add to Wait List: You can add a contact to a wait list so you can message them at a specific time.
  • Workflow History: This allows you to view the history of past workflows on this contact.
  • View Contact: This allows you to view the entirety of this contact's information that you have in your account.

What are the buttons located at the top of the text box?

  • There are 3 buttons on the top right of the text box at the bottom of the page, these are shortcuts to the following features in order to the image below:


  • Attach Images: You can attach an image to your text message you are about to send.
  • Shortcuts: You can quickly add the contact's info you have in your account to the text message.
  • Templates: This is to access your pre-written Message Templates that you have made for quick messages.

Am I able to block a contact from contacting me?

Of course!


  • If a contact is driving you crazy, and/or you no longer want to talk with them, the block feature is located on the right side of the page that contains the contacts information, scroll down to the bottom of it and click on the "Block Lead" button, as shown below:

Can I easily copy and paste a contacts information from my Conversations page?

Yes!


  • If you want to quickly copy information on a contact you are talking too, just view their information on the right-hand side and check for the information that you want to copy. You can click the copy buttons located to the left of the information, as shown below:

You can also do it the old style way by just selecting it and copy it then paste it that way if preferred.


Can I call a contact from my Conversations page?


Yes!


  • You can call a contact a couple ways on this page - You can click the call button located by the contact's display name in the middle of the page, this will call this contact's number immediately, as shown here:


  • Another way to call a contact is to click on the green call button located at the top of the page - With this option, you would need to either type the number manually or copy and paste it here. then just click on the green call button on the bottom of this window to call this contact:

In this window, you can also check any outbound or inbound calls you have received previously.

Can I add a contact to a workflow on my Conversations page?

Yes!


  • You are able to add contacts to workflows a couple ways on this page, you can click the button located by the contact's display name in the middle of the page. The button looks like this:

  • Once clicked, it will have a window pop-up labeled "Add to Workflow" and then you can select the desired workflow you want to use on this contact, it will also give you the option to use your current number that you are using with them. Once you select your workflow, just click "Save" and it will add that contact to that workflow:

  • Another way to add a contact to a workflow would be to check their information on the right-hand side of the page and scroll down to the box labeled "Active Workflows" - You can click the button that is labeled "+ workflow" and the same pop-up from before will appear where you can select your desired workflow, after selecting, click "Save" and then the contact will be added to that workflow:



Can I add a contact to a waiting list on my Conversations page?

Yes!


  • There are a couple options on this page to be able to add a contact to a wait list, you can click either one of these buttons to achieve this:


  • Once either button is clicked, a window will pop-up labeled "Add to Wait List" - You can view your active wait lists by clicking the box in that window, select the desired wait list for this contact, then click "Save" - This contact will now be added to that specific wait list:

Can I add a contact to my Opportunities from my Conversations page?

Yes!


  • You can add a contact to your opportunities by going over to the right-hand side of the page showing your contacts information that you have in your account - Scroll down and click on the tab labeled "Opportunity" and click on the button "+ Add" as shown below:


  • Once clicked, it will open a window labeled "Add Opportunity" - You can select your Pipeline, Stage, Quoted (If applicable), and Network (If Applicable), once you selected these options, click on the "Add" button in the bottom right of the window - That contact will now be available to view on your Opportunity page:


Can I add tags on a contact from my Conversations page?

Yes!


  • You can add a tag from the right-hand side of the page that shows your contact's information - You will see a section labeled "Tags" with two options to click, you can use an existing tag that you already have in your account by clicking on the "+ Tag" button and selecting the desired tag, it will then add it to that contact:

  • You can also create a new tag by clicking on the "+ Create Tag" button - Once that is clicked, a window will pop up labeled "Create Tag" and you can add the name of the new tag along with a color of your choosing, once it is the way you want it, just click on the "Create" button on the lower right hand corner, and it will be added to that contact, and can also be selected again through the "+tag" if needed:

Can I add notes for a contact on my Conversations page?

Yes!


If you want to add a note for yourself to keep on a specific contact, just look to the right-hand side of the page that shows your contact's information that you have in your account, and scroll down to the tab labeled "Notes" - You can write anything you need here that you need to remember about this contact:


Don't worry - Nobody can view your notes except you. It's your personal sticky note!

Can I request a feature?

Yes, we always like to hear from you! If there is anything that you think that would help us improve, always feel free to contact us.


  • If you want to request a specific feature, you can click on the bell icon located at the top of the page, it is labeled as "Updates & Feedback" - Once clicked, a menu will come up and you can select the option labeled "Request a Feature", you can also check others as well if ever needed:
